Cape Town City Centre sits between Table Bay and Table Moutain in the City Bowl which also includes the area to the north of Table Mountain and east of Signal Hill.

Cape Town Central is in the heart of Cape Town and in the shadow of Table Mountain.  The main areas being the Central Business District and the surrounding suburbs the "City Bowl", V&A Waterfront and the Atlantic Seaboard running as far as Hout Bay.  The CBD is a mix of historical and modern architecture and home to most of the main museums, District 6 and nightlife.  The V&A Waterfront is a major shopping and entertainment area very popular with Cape Town visitors and where the ferry to Robben Island departs.  The Atlantic Seaboard offers white sandy beaches, cafes and small towns all the way to Hout Bay.
