Vienna is situated on the banks of the Danube and is the capital of Austria.  There is much to see from Gothic St. Stephen's Catherdral, the Imperial Palace, the Art Nouveau splendor of the Secession, the magnificent baroque palace Schronbrun to the Museum of Fine Arts.  There is also modern architecture at the Museums Quartier.  Vienna is also famous for its many coffee houses and traditional wine taverns and has a lively nightlife.
